Getting started

Use this path to go from a new installation to a safe first mapping trip. The same main steps apply on Android and iPhone.

Get the app

• iPhone / iOS: Join the FreqMapper TestFlight beta.
• Android: Download the latest FreqMapper beta.

Set up and start mapping

1. Join a mapping region with the temporary public beta enrollment code or a key supplied by a region administrator.
2. Set up the app, connect your Meshtastic radio, and prepare the shared wardriving channel.
3. Take your first mapping trip after the app confirms that the radio and location are ready.

If the shared beta code is unavailable, ask in the Freq51 Discord community or learn how to start a FreqMapper region.
