FreqMapper v1.0.13

Summary

FreqMapper v1.0.13 improves the clarity of Android and iOS release notes and fixes TestFlight comparisons that could reuse older notes instead of describing the changes between builds.

What's new

None in this release.

Improvements

  • TestFlight and Google Play release notes now use clearer, feature-specific descriptions for changes involving TCP radio connections, Watchers on Map, background recovery, offline wardriving, and saved-radio management.
  • Beta testing notes can now include targeted checks for TCP connections by hostname or IP address, Watcher short-name labels above map coverage, and map responsiveness and radio-session recovery after switching apps.
  • Beta testing notes can also include checks for starting wardrives without server access, collecting GPS and breadcrumbs on a blank map, uploading queued data after reconnecting, and managing saved BLE and TCP radios without affecting enrollment or trip history.
  • Feature-specific testing checks now supplement explicitly supplied testing notes rather than being omitted when those notes are present.

Fixes

  • Fixed TestFlight release-note comparisons that could mistake different builds for the same app changes, reuse older notes, and omit what had changed.
  • TestFlight note comparisons now reject mismatched or ambiguous build information instead of using it to produce potentially incomplete notes.

What you need to do

No action is required from app users. These changes apply to future TestFlight and Google Play release workflows after v1.0.13 is merged.

Mobile availability

No new Android or iOS app build is evidenced for this release. The changes concern release notes for TestFlight and Google Play.

Known limitations

Existing TestFlight build 892 notes are not rewritten automatically. After this release is merged, run Watch TestFlight releases manually with target build 892 and baseline build 881 to repair them. External TestFlight group assignment, Beta App Review, and public app releases remain manual gates.
