FreqMapper v1.0.15
Summary
FreqMapper v1.0.15 restores automatic product-release announcements in Discord through the existing FreqMapper bot, with more reliable delivery after interruptions.
What's new
None in this release.
Improvements
- Announcement delivery remembers releases already sent and checks for an existing matching message before retrying, helping prevent duplicate announcements after interruptions or bot restarts.
- After its initial announcement, the bot picks up newer releases in publication order, allowing announcements to catch up after a temporary interruption.
- Failed announcement checks are retried automatically without disconnecting the bot’s interactive Discord features.
Fixes
- Restored automatic product-release announcements in the Discord announcement channel, including delivery to servers following that channel, using the existing FreqMapper bot.
What you need to do
Nothing. The update is already available.
Mobile availability
No mobile build is evidenced for this release. These changes do not publish a mobile app update, and separate mobile-build releases are not included in the bot’s product-release announcements.
Known limitations
Announcements are checked periodically rather than sent immediately; the default checking interval is five minutes. The bot initially announces only the newest product release, rather than reposting the older release history. Discord announcements longer than its 6,000-character embed limit are shortened and link to the complete Help release page.
