FreqMapper v1.0.18

Summary

FreqMapper v1.0.18 improves diagnosis of supported Android map-related crashes and app-not-responding errors. Android 1.0 (116) remains available only through Google Play internal testing, not to wider testing groups or the public.

What's new

None in this release.

Improvements

  • Google Play builds now upload checksum-verified native symbols for the exact MapLibre map-engine binaries packaged in the app, making supported crash and app-not-responding reports easier to investigate.
  • The matching native-symbol archive is retained with the signed Play build evidence for later troubleshooting.

Fixes

  • Fixed the release pipeline gap that allowed an Android App Bundle to reach Google Play without its separate native debug-symbol archive.

What you need to do

Internal testers can install or update to Android 1.0 (116) through the Google Play internal-testing link. No action is needed for closed, open, or production users because this build has not been released to those tracks.

Mobile availability

Android 1.0 (116) is published only to Google Play internal testing. It has not been published to closed testing, open testing, or production. Android 0.1.109 (114) remains the latest closed-testing build. Android 1.0 (116) retains compatibility with direct updates from existing Google Play 0.1-series installations.

Known limitations

  • Native symbols improve future crash and ANR diagnostics; they do not fix a crash by themselves.
  • The uploaded symbols apply only to the exact native MapLibre binaries in Android build 116.
