FreqMapper v1.0.2
Summary
Release announcements are now delivered more reliably after FreqMapper updates go live. Temporary delays from the release service no longer prevent the existing FreqMapper bot from posting the complete announcement and sharing it with servers following the announcement channel.
What's new
- Release announcements now recover automatically when the release service briefly delays status information.
- Servers following the FreqMapper announcement channel continue to receive the same approved update automatically.
Improvements
- Temporary service errors no longer create duplicate release announcements.
- A short delay in release status no longer interrupts delivery of an otherwise successful announcement.
- Announcements remain unpublished until the corresponding FreqMapper update is ready to share.
Fixes
- Fixed a timing issue that could prevent Discord from receiving an announcement even though the corresponding FreqMapper update was already live.
- Fixed temporary release-service errors stopping an announcement instead of retrying safely.
What you need to do
Nothing. This update affects only how release announcements are delivered.
Mobile availability
No Android or iPhone build is included in this release. Existing supported app versions are unaffected.
Known limitations
An announcement may appear a few seconds after an update becomes available. This delay does not affect the update itself or require any action from FreqMapper users.
